Joe.Cool1331 I haven't looked at it yet so i have no idea what kind of condition it is actually in. The color is what mainly caught my eye because I am seriously looking for a yellow TJ and they are hard to find especially with the I6. I may go look at it in the next couple of days because that price for that year sounds like a steal imo.

tjmellinger I don't think that price is unreasonable. I just bought a 2002 w 130k blue Wrangler X 5 sp. 4.0 A/C with a Hard top and a new soft bestop for around the same price. Up here in MI, you could probably do a little better than that. It depends on the area, but if it's maintained well, I would try and push him down a lil' and go for it

XJ Knight Not low miles, but that is far from high miles as well for that engine. Properly maintained your looking at 300K plus easy. The issue with it is going to be has he replaced the cylinder head in it yet. If not, It can go at any time. 4.0's in 2000 and for a good chunk of 2001 recieved bad cylinder heads leading to the head cracking and the engine overheating. Typically happens between 100K-150K but can happen before and after.

Is this a good deal?

Recently came across this TJ. Love the color, engine and motor, but the miles are concerning me. Opinions?
