Cj7otr Yup. Only try dropping the belly pan when the entire drivetrain is together.

cj5 lift problems

I bought a BDS 4 in lift for my 76 cj5 and I put the transfer case drop kit on, when i went to put the engine and tranny in, the tranny would not line up with the holes, like the pan was sitting to low.

Has anyone had this problem and what did u do about it?
