sgnellett Another option might be to go to an RV shop, they oftten have after market air ride seats so you can upgrade an older RV, no reason you couldn't drop on in the Heep!

Hitchhiker You might want to give Industrial Seats a call at 800-223-7003, they make custom air ride seats for off road applications.

"I know this sounds stupid"

Seriously considering a new 4dr Rubicon. However, a test drive reminded me of a lower back issue that crops up when I drive long distances with stiff/sporty suspensions. Talked to the dealer yesterday, told him I was very impressed, and asked him to look into adding an air ride seat. He agreed to investigate so I am patiently awaiting his reply. Meanwhile, this eccentric old fart is wondering if anyone in the "jeep community" has seen or heard of this being done. My back is fine in rough and tumble going. It's the constant vibration produced by stiff suspension. Relating any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.
"Smart like dumptruck!"
