Thermostat Housing

I have a 1988 YJ. The Thermostat housing cracked and is now leaking. I would like to replace it, but have found that the part listed on all Jeep Parts sites is quite different in shape to the part that I am replacing (looking at right now). Does anyone know if there are two designs for this part in the 1988 Wrangler? The part I am finding has the two hoses running parallel into the housing from the top; one fat on the left and one less fat on the right. On mine, the hoses enter at almost 45 degree angles: one fat straight down from the top and one less fat from about 3:00 o'clock. This has me baffled. I can not find a replacement. Can someone help me find the part? Thank you.
