JKOrange As the original poster, I want to apologize for being away from the internet last week and not responding to the offers for help. The day after I posted this message, we had an unexpected death in the family. We have had a lot going on around here since, and buying a Jeep has been put on hold for now. I do appreciate all your responses and will get back to you when I can. Thanks!

That's what I am running in mine. Purrs like a kitten. The only issue I have had so far was the timing was off when I bought. Once that was set, I have had no problems (knocking on the wood of my desk).

Plenty of power for wheelin', unless you are planning to do more extreme crawling.

Enjoy your YJ!

Nice YJ! If you are planning on replacing the fenders, the Smitty XRC Tube Fenders w/Flare work well and look really good on the YJ. The Metalcloaks that Steve is sportin' are pretty "wicked" looking as well.

Hope yours runs as well as mine does. What size squirrels you got under the hood?

Yeah, I know, but I am keeping tabs on all you SA Jeepers.

Missed you guys and RubiLJ at HF last month. Gonna try and make the Oct 27th run that I keep reading about.

If you guys ever do a meet on the North side of SA, let me know, I might be able to make that one.

wickedyj95 I echo that last statement I have two automotive shops in my family owned and ran by my dad and brothers ,both of which are in mississippi,(my home), been wrenching on stuff for better part of my life . I have base privledges and if the current owner will let you, we can take it to the auto hobby shop on base and stick it on a lift and go all thru the normal inspection type things plus check some more hard to find tell tell signs of abuse/misuse. but if that isnt quite possible i can meet you there and i wouldnt mind crawlin under it to take a peak. And of course driving it and all of thats gonna be a must. give us a shout if youd like and im sure any of us motorheads on here would love to help you get your next project rock smasher! PM me time and place or give me a shout on facebook its Steven Randolph.
OH and BTW id love to have another YJ on the trails !!!!!

Help wanted in San Antonio area (or New Braunfels)

Hello - I have found an older Jeep ('92) that I am interested in buying, but I would like to have someone take a look at it with me that knows how to spot potential mechanical problems. I would be happy to pay. (Not sure what a fair price is though... Please let me know.) Thank you for any assistance!
