Fuel skipping under half a tank when turning

This usually happens when I have less than half a tank of gas and even more so when it's at a quarter tank of gas or less.

I seem to loose gas for a second when turning on to a road from another one. If I'm at a stop light and going straight it's not as much of an issue. But If I give the car go juice turning on to a road with less than a quarter tank of gas it's pretty much guaranteed that I will lose gas for a second and then I will get it back. All spark plugs recently changed and it didn't help. Any ideas?
