GrnTJ Almost all Jeeps are actually a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern. Exceptions for the more common Jeeps are CJ's, Wagoneers, and JK's. So the TJ, YJ, ZJ, XJ, and MJ have the same pattern. Wagoneers are 6 bolt rims where as the JK and CJ use 5 on 5.5" patterns. Just a little extra info (and yes, I know there are more but those are the basics)

if you look at the picture showing all the lug patters, the line that goes from one lug to the other is what you want to measure. so looking at the 5 lug pattern you start the measurement on the top lug and measure to the center of the lower lug. on a tj its a 5 lug 4.5" rim size.

Thanks for the info

and the lesson. I didn't know how to measure them. Good to know if I end up getting a used set of rims. I'd like to get some chrome rims to go with the new tires. I did hear that 31s would fit but decided to with the 30s so I wouldn't have to worry about wheel rub. I did look at the stickies but only for the TJ not higher up where I found even more info. Good tip.

Thanks again,
evs

MR.CLIFFORD You should learn how to measure bolt patterns then you will never need to find a chart again. Take a look at this.

Your TJ is 5 x 4.5.

Different Years and Rim bolt pattern?

I'm gettting some new tires on my 99 stock TJ with the stock 15" rims. I would like to go as big as I can without a lift kit. I was thinking maybe the BF G AT KO of BFG KA in a 30x9.5R15 size. My main ? is if I want new rims how do I know what bolt pattern is correct and is there a chart somewhere for this kind of stuff. Are the different models/years throught the whole TJ line the same bolt pattern?

TIA
evs(looking for some new to me rims :-)
