Seat Swap Question

I swapped my broken driver seat & passenger seats from my '90 YJ with seats from a 98 TJ, the guys at the dismantler told me I would never get them to fit (what are they thinking, NEVER tell a woman it can't be done) I fabricated 3/8" steel to make new brackets, and got it all buttoned up, but my question is, does anyone know if they make a seat riser that is about 2" or 3" lower than the standard riser? I now sit a little too high, and can no longer use my tilt steering. HELP!
