Jerry Bransford I would just use Rustoleum primer then Rustoleum gloss or satin black after sanding them to insure the primer and paint adheres well. Or substitute Krylon which is at least as good as Rustoleum. Actually, I have been getting better and more even results with Krylon lately.

Powder coat or rattle can bedliner?

Bent a rim and have 4 extra (old) ones sitting in my garage. Figured might as well swap them out instead of buying new rims. I am going to sand them down and prep them for a new look. Just don't know if I want to bed line or powder coat. Not really concerned about the look, (I think they both look good) just want to know which one would be more cost effective and hold up better with Colorado's snowy winters and wheeling. Not trying to go the cheap route, just want something inexpensive and durable. Below is a picture of one of the wheels now. All opinions are welcome!
