techflork never did snow wheeling, well I did once. The snow hid a huge mud pit, we went a few feet off the road and bam sunk. It was night time, and the snow made it a messy stuck. Guess I'm just not prepped for snow, and salt on the roads have begun slowly destroying my baby. She's a beast in snow on the road but my all terrains aren't happy in snowy fields. I agree though, I'm ready for more than just mud lol

Jerry Bransford I got tired of mud the first time and only time I did it. What a frigging mess afterward too.

jebby I would love to although my rig is also my DD so its not overly built. Im also not really comfortable breaking my ride home far from home lol. There are some offroad parks within a few hours if i go state side but its a PITA and $$$. Just wish there was more locally and when it snows there is lol. As for vaca.... id never sell it to the wife lol

sand is fun too. just less available lol

Rubicondon53 Have you considered setting your jeep up for long range excursions? We don't wheel much locally, (PA) maybe a couple times a year, but our vacations are dedicated to the off road jeepin experience.. Once a year we head either up to Canada or out west, and that gives me a whole year to prep everything... The last time we went snowing, up at Bald Eagle St Forest, we broke through the crust,, and spent the rest of the daylight hours winching and shoveling.. overall a great day, but I'd rather not do it again.. Took us nearly six hours to get rolling again...
