DriveOffroad I have a factory soft top and have tested the Rugged Ridge bowless top for a few weeks during the summer. Works great and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a soft top but doesn't want a full blown top with frame etc ($$$) for example when they have a hard top as well.

Jeep Top, Rugged Ridge TJ Bowless Top#

I took it off, because it doesn't work with the Rock Hard rear speader bar that I have installed to protect my kids. If that is not an issue for you, the top is great. Love the open air feel but still have the protection from the sun.

SurfKaster I vote trektop NX. Comes with everything you need & should be able to get for under 600. If you want a traditional frame I'd go with a Bestop supertop. It also comes with everything you need, but will be about twice as much. On the cheap I'd be looking into a rampage top, but you'd need to pickup the hardware.

Neil F. If you wasnt a framed top that you can lower or take all the way off like the OEM, Supertop NX comes with everything.

Soft top

I bought my TJ with a hardtop. I would like to get a spice soft top. I have none of the framing for the soft top. So I would need the kit with the top. What is the going rate for a soft top or does anyone know a good place to get one cheap?
