flattietj I WOULD BET THAT IT IS A UNIT BEARING........i went through about 30 on my wrangler before i got rid of that junk d30, i wonder if the moron that did your brakes thought you had to loosen that spindle nut to get the rotors off......i bet he did......first rotor replacement is always a pain, then when you start breaking front axles every weekend they start sliding off........i am willing to bet alot of money that he loosened that axle nut and took the preload off of the unit bearing.......i would take it back to them and ask why they fd it up. to check your ball joints, jack that side off of the ground about 2 inches and then take a pry bar and try to pry up on the tire from the ground....if it moves it means either the ball joints are out or the bearing is bad........to check to see if it is the bearing grab both sides of the tire while still jacked up and shake it side to side.......if there is play or slop replace the unit bearing......if none then replace the ball joints

Moog makes offset ball joints also. You can get them a O'riely's



To the OP..... Jerry is dead on. I hope it's just your ball joints.

Jerry Bransford Either your axle is bent or an upper or lower ball joint went bad. If the axle isn't bent, replace the ball joint. Even if something is bent, you can get replacement ball joints from the dealer (nowhere else that I am aware of) that are adjustable for the angle.

Wheel is cambering

my 2000 sahara has never been wrecked and never be extreme crawling either. after I hit about 40k miles the front driver side wheel became slightly tilted like this \. I have taken it to many shops and nobody seems to know what the problem is. I don't know if maybe the wheel balance could cause this or if the wheel housing is off balance. The problem seems to have started about the same time I had my brakes replaced. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
