COREFEST at The Cliffs Sept 1-3

Sept 1-3 CORE (Chicago Off Road Expeditions) in cooperation of The Cliffs Insane Terrain in Marseilles will be hosting COREFEST. There will be organized group runs on Saturday and Sunday. Members will be on site to help or answer questions. We will have 3 levels/groups. There will be guided night runs on those nights also.

Corban has set a price of $47 for 2 days of wheeling, 2 nights of camping and 2 night runs. We will be lined up early so you can determine which level that you want to run with. There will be a drivers meeting at 930 both days followed by the guided runs for those that wish to participate. The runs will take place til lunch then we can break into more groups or you can go on your own. The night runs will leave the parking lot at 830.

Newbies are welcomed

level 1 groups will be newer drivers and (conditions) street tires.

level 2 groups will be minimum all-terrains, tow points front and rear, tow strap and suggested C.B. this group will run some of the more moderate trails in the park. Body damage is always a possibility.

level 3 group will be modified vehicles, lockers, winch and mud terrains suggested along with above requirements. This group will hit the rough stuff. Rollovers, body and suspension damage is possible.

Onsite camping is primitave, no electric, there are flush toilets and a portable shower will be set up. There are 3 campgrounds close by. 4 Star Campground less than a mile away: Glenwood Farms 3 miles away, and Illini State Park 4 miles away.
