stevens243 All my (years ago) experience with General was bad to terrible. My GMC (wife's ride) came new with Generals and I IMMEDIATLY upgraded to Bridgestone Dueler's. They were (they're gone now) stellar tires. Only issue I had was the fact that the 40K rated tires lated 37K and I got the last couple thousand out of them because it was summer and it doesn't rain here in the summer.

I replaced the Bridgestones with Toyo open country AT's. They are equal or slightly better that the bridgestones and I seem to be getting better wear (only about 20K into the set). I've had both on pavement, rain, snow, mud and sand and they are excellent. Not any real rock work so I don't know.

I rotate every 5K and keep the pressure set.

I've stayed away from Generals for a long time, so I don't know if they've gotten better (I'm sure they have) or by how much. Just my 2 cents.

Are these tires any good? The reviews on the website are all good but i thought i would get a second opinion. Should i go with these or just go with the bridgestone dueler? Or neither? i was trying to stay under a 100 for each tire and i'm still using the stock wheels.
