|philiproots||Thanks for the advice and the welcomes! I joined the NAGC forum (North American Grand Cherokee Association) and asked the same question. No-one really knows for sure but I was advised that if they are the stock 18's off the Sahara Edition they may not fit because they use a fairly thick casting on them that may interfere with the calipers. The ones I am looking at are off a Wrangler X but I don't know if there's any difference in the rims.|

I believe the 17" & 18" wheels fit the GC and it is the 16" JK wheels that the calipers rub, and if I remember correctly 30" tires are the largest tires that fit the stock GC. A few years ago I sold my stock 17" wheels and tires to a guy with a lifted GC and I think that is what he told me.

2009 Wrangler rims on a 2001 Grand Cherokee?
Has anyone tried this - am looking at a set of 18" wheels/rims off a 2009 Wrangler to replace the OEM rims on my 2001 GC - I cross-checked the bolt pattern and they are both 5 x 5" but I heard somewhere that the brake calipers on my GC get in the way? Also...and I know I'm stretching the 'Wrangler' connection here...how big can I go with the tires on a GC without a lift? Thank you much.
