|shatteredsoul||I haven't personally done a Wrangler but this should be a fairly straightforward job. You will need to remove both wiper arms, the cowl which is easy breezy(dont forget about the hidden screws behind the rubber hood seal), unbolt the wiper motor as well as the transmission. You may be able to run a die over the stripped wiper arm bolt and use some locktite to re-install the arm.|

How to replace wiper transmission? PLEASE HELP!!!
I have to replace the wiper transmission on my wrangler, because some ayehole ripped at the blade and bent the peg, as well as stripped off the serrated nut thing on which the wiper arm rests. My mechanic said I need a whole new wiper transmission and wants $240 for parts/labor.
I'd hate to have to spend that. Is this something that is hard to do? Could I install a wiper transmission on my own with minimal tools/skill? How?
