tropical36 Can't believe no one has one like this to even attempt a response, but I did finally get it done with the help of DELCO-REMY tech support. Must be the only people in the world that know what they're talking about when it comes to this install and that includes tech support from the people who rebuild them and provide their tele in the box it comes in.
If I ever do it again, it won't be as original and will use a one wire system with near twice the amp output.

CJ5 Alternator/Regulator wiring

Working on a AMC 1970 CJ5 here with the 225ci Buick V6 and hoping that someone with a similar vehicle could post or send me some pictures of the wiring hookup. New regulator has different wire colors than the old one and don't match the harness. Also no wiring instructions that make any sense came with the new alternator. There's some vague pictures online but nothing one could actually go by.
The connector to the regulator in a 3 pin in a step configuration, so if I knew where each one of those three wires connected to on the back of the alternator in would be invaluable, regardless of the colors.
PM's are welcome also and will also provide my email address for further communication if that's what it takes.
Thanks in advance.
