buying a 2000 TJ Sport next week!

Very thrilled to be buying a Jeep. I did own a 2001 Cherokee a while back. Liked it a lot. So I am familiar with some aspects of Jeep vehicle.

This will be a second vehicle for me. But I am sure I will be driving it a lot. My E350 van is really not much fun to drive.

WHile looking for a wrangler to buy I did find that... 1) they hold their value. I was surprised at how expensive they are. 2) there are a lot beat up ones on the market. I looked at 5 different TJ's that were under 10k in price. All at dealerships. I would not even consider spending my hard earned cash on any of them.

Then I found a private owner one that was bought by the guy to get back up to snuff and sell. (2000 Sport) He rebuilt the engine. 94k original miles. All new brakes / rotors / calipers. (it sat for a few years) Drained and flushed tranny. (it's an automatic) Good frame. No body rust. Clean interior. Hard top. Basically...it blew away everything else I looked at.

So I am super excited to get it. (waiting on the check from my credit union)
