|jupiterboy||Look at any heat shields and check the hangers, which can get reversed or jammed up so the exhaust sits too close to a shield or other structure.|

I had a similar problem. I bent my tailpipe a little bit while rock crawling and when I started it up it would rattle against the aftermarket bumper.
I used the floor jack handle to bend it back down....no more problems.

|bardenk1||check your muffler over time the body cracks and it will rattle a little bit over time and get worse. also check your hangers you have one on the back for the tailpipe, one directly above your axle, and one thats also your transmission mount and thats in your skid-plate.|

Rattle from exhaust on start up??
2005 TJ 6cyl, auto. on cold startups sounds like a rattle from exhaust mid vehicle area. When warm seems to go away. Any ideas, or experience with this? I can't seem to figure out where it's coming from? Thanks John
