marc1kim I think the 97's have a cam shaft sensor in the distributor could be that too. Or it could be a related wire that makes connection when everything is cold, but looses connection due to heat expansion.

97 Jeep wrangler wont run

I have a 97 jeep wrangler 2.5 liter 4cyl. My jeep will start but after a few minutes, driving it or letting it idle, it will die almost instantly. It will start back up after waiting a few minutes. I have replaced the following:

Engine
Clutch
Fuel Pump
Fuel filter
rotor button
water pump
crank sensor

After replacing the crank sensor, it ran perfect for a couple days then started the exact same thing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
