Rusty 13 Yep! This is what I read in the forums and on line. So now we drive it a bunch and check it often. I was happy as I want to do a little something on Sunday and didn't want there to be a major issue....not that one isn't brewing tho.
I drive my jeep everyday as well as off road so I want to make sure I learn as much as I can.

sevenservices Welcome! You did it right... you'll notice over time that if the problem of low fluid keeps coming back you'll want to replace the slave cylinder.

Enjoy the Jeep!!!

New to forum...just self diagnosed my first small issue

Hey all
Well I am new to the forum and a new jeep owner. I recently purchased a 1992 yj. While I am not a newbie at wheeling, until this past summer I had never wheeled with a jeep or a manual trans. So much different but I like it better.
I was fortuante to ride, and drive some parts of the Rubicon for 3 full trips through.
Any how...I have had my jeep for almost a month. I haven't done anything extreme with it at this point.....some small stuff and a lot of fishing trips a few dirt roads and a couple desert 4X4ing...
I noticed yesterday after fishing all day that when I got back in the jeep to drive home the clutch pedal felt soft and was harder to get into 1st and reverse.
So I got on the forum and searched a bit and then went and read some stuff on line in a google search. I found that it was a simple fix and needed some fluid for the clutch.
I put it in and it's good to go, but I will now have to watch it and see if it will become a bigger issue..

Thanks to the forum posters who have had clutch issues....
Rusty 13
