Yeah, I've seen those mounts, but I'm mounting a light bar and want to surface mount it right on top.

BodhiMiles Anyone mount lights on the flat surface (winch area) of the bumper? Did you have to drill into the bumper?

OrangeJeepGuy Jake at Rampage is shipping me a new d-ring. Great customer service!

I have also noticed I have an issue with one of my d-rings. The bolt won't fully thread all the way through. I have sent an email to the rampage email address listed earlier in the thread. Maybe they will send me a replacement. I will gladly send the defective one back as long as I don't have to pay for shipping.

I don't really have a specific pic of the mounts, but you can see it pretty well in this pic -

Mine looks the same way. It could also be (possibly), the fenders not being 100% level...after all, they are plastic.

Dv8 front bumper

Hey guys new to the forum here and joined because of this thread! So I was wanting a front bumper for my 2013 jkur and really liked the rampage style bumper so I started researching. And I found the dv8 bumper that looks identical to the rampage. I ended up contacting dv8 directly and ordered the bumper for 469.00 and that included the shipping. I have already installed it and did it myself with the help of a neighbor with tools. Not sure how to post pictures but my profile pictures is my jeep with the dv8 rampage styled front bumper.

X2

I installed without a jack or second hands. Just walk it in the the mounting holes. Aligned up pretty easy. I installed the winch on the winch plate then bolted on winch plate once I lifted the unit onto the bumper. With the right wrenches it can be don't in this order.

They are also going to install a winch at the same time. Some mods I am willing to do on my own but not the bumper and winch combo. I don't have a helper so I'm glad to pay them to do it for me. Thanks for the advice though!

It's killing me knowing my bumper is setting there and not on my Jeep.

Is that your factory front air dam on there? Did you have to do any trimming to get it on?

Hansen[/URL]- mostly because they're made by the same company as my Pure Jeep sliders which I've beat to hell and have held up great. They do meet from the side view- as opposed to front and rear bumpers.

Nothing; until I rip off my stock one. Which isn't far off. Just have the Teraflex hinge right now.
