agphotosnatj If you're putting new skins on your door uppers get 'em warm. The plastic and fabric relaxes and it's easier to horse 'em over that last corner. I think you'll like them. I skinned my uppers last year. Noise wise they seemed a bit quieter than stock.

The old windows dont seem to be able to come of the window frame without cutting though.
Yes, the OEM skins need to be cut off the frames.

richp The factory OEM half door uppers are sewed on from the factory, yes they need to be removed with a sharp object of your choice.

KBR97 Im trying to put "NEW" upper windows in the front doors.
I found this link at the besttop website. The old ones do need to be cut in order to remove them and install the new windows.

JCS05Rubi The three rear windows have zippers and velcro.

The front windows, if they are half doors (meaning your door is bottom half metal, top half fabric) just lift out. Open the door, grab the fabric on both sides, and pull straight up.

If you have metal doors, than you gotta take your trim panel off and all that.

Levinoss You are talking about the half door uppers?

I'm not sure about from factory so mine must be after market because mine has Velcro.

removing factory soft windows???

Ok so the jeep has the new Besttop already on but the soft windows need to be put on now.

How do the factory ones come off the frame?? They seem to be sowed on, and the new ones have velcro. Do the old ones need to be cut off??
