denisbaldwin If you're talking about the 162SL60B Detroit then you should be good. That's a full case locker and good for some abuse. I'd be more concerned about the D30 itself (shafts, tubes, u-joints, etc) than the locker in that case.

Detroit EZ Locker in Dana 30

If I drop a Detroit EZ Locker into my Dana 30, will I have problems when I drop in a V8 next year? Is it a bad idea? If so what locker would hold up? This would be with 33" tires max.
