Dana 44 rear

I am looking a possibly purchasing this Dana 44 rear which came out of a scout.
I haven't seen it in person, but here is a pic. He wants $50. Is it worth it if it is straight and clean?
I eventually would like to put it on my 2000 Sport.
Any advice would be helpful, or an idea how much more I will be sticking into this project to do it right.
