Mine steams for quite awhile after I wash the Jeep and get the radiator nice and soaked.
Same goes after driving in rain/snow.
Freaked me out the first time, thought I punctured the radiator or split a hose.

|Master Pain 80||Had the same thing the other day. Its just steam. It lasted about 3 seconds then stopped. It was a good downpour here all day.|

|Pappabearr||No coolent smell. it was not there at the 2nd light. Yes I did open the hood everything was in tact, nothing unusual|

|tabber02||yeah.. need a little more info. steam or smoke? did it have an odor? probably wouldn't hurt to lift the hood and check with the engine at temperature. you'd smell antifreeze if your radiator was leaking...|

I recently purchased a 2008 jeep wrangler. We had a heavy rain last night . When I stopped at my first stop light this morning I noticed smoke rising out from under the hood. Is this just condensation burning off ? I have never seen this in any of my other vehicles
