don't know what to tell you, different people will have differing opinions on ride quality.

No complaints on my OME flex either.

You put on a tire carrier in the back, there goes another 100lb.
you put a winch in the front, another 100.
You add some armor, some protection underneath etc.. it adds up
With the same suspension, a 4k lb rig will ride smoother than a 3.5k lb rig.
I dont know how you can install them wrong. The shocks go both ways and the ride is all the same in both directions... crappy
the springs, well if you installed those wrong, i don't know what to tell u
The tbar wouldnt change ride, that pretty much sums it up.

|Jerry Bransford||Exactly what tire pressure are you running and what size tires do you have?|

I do currently have stock tires and wheels along with stock bumpers but am not sure what that has to do with ride quality. I keep 32psi on the tires.
When i drive home from work there is 1 bump in the road comming off a bridge where the concrete meets the asphalt. I drive it at 55 mph. (highway) When I drive over it I just about bounce out of my seat. Not a good feeling. I don't remember that with my stockers. Its more noticable in the rear. The jeep rocks and i can see the lights reflect up and down. Feels like i have airbags that area overinflated or when i cut the coils on my mini truck when i was a teen. Don't misunderstand me.. I like RC. Had their lift on my 02 Dodge Ram QC and liked it.. Thanks probably the main reason i went with them. That and their outstanding customer service.
I am wondering if maybe i installed them wrong. Can anyone post pics on the rear underside.
Top 1 is before.. Bottom 2 are after.

Didn't know that, and it gives them less excuse for not working some of these issues out a long time ago I guess.

There's a lot of griping about RC on JF as well. But many of them are owners of the earlier RC lifts. I've been hearing better reviews about the newer lifts they have.
I for one hope nicer lifts become available in this price range. If we put my son in a TJ (he ain't getting mine any time soon), it would be nice to have a viable options in this range.

don't have any pics of the V-Star on the work PC so i'll have to get them later.
my TJ is an 06 X with 22k on it. i don't think my stock springs/shocks are worn out... lol
tire choice and pressure has a LOT to do with your ride quality. so would stock bumpers vs. aftermarket. i'm sure that if i had stock bumpers on mine and 40psi in the tires it would ride like crap, but i don't so it doesn't. currently i've got 33x12.50 ProComp MudTerrains on it at 28psi (so they wear evenly) and it rides great keeping in mind that it's a swb SUV.
it sucks that some of you weren't happy with your RC purchases, but you're in the minority. this is the only forum i go to where there is so much griping about RC. those guys have given me nothing but A+++ service, and that means as much to me as product quality.

I'm in the OME camp as well. However, I think ANY lift I purchased would have been better than my stock ride. My shocks were worn and my springs were sagging big time. If I went from that to an RC lift, I'd probably be praising RC too. So keep in mind where each owner is coming from because it DOES change their perspective on what is good.
I knew I only had one shot at a lift on my TJ. My budget would not allow me to fix a mistake. So I went with a name/vendor that I knew would give me what I needed.

Booger, dont get me wrong, ho hate here, if you like it, good. Now wheres the pics of that vstar? I cant wait till the spring so i can ride my baby.

Some people spew out information they've read online without having any personal experience with it. My comments are based on personal experience and my opinion still holds. My Rough Country "suspension" was a big pile of crap.
That being said, and in my opinion, if you're happy with a crappy suspension then I'm very happy for you.

|4U2NV||Installed mine last weekend and i must say... So for the name its right. "Rough Country" Try riding a country road with this lift and you too will see how rough it is. I plan on giving it more time to settle. If there is no change i will contact the sales rep. to rectify the issue.|

Now i thought we all agreed that this was a matter of opinion and that the childish shiat was over.
MOST people that have had a RC lift didnt care for it. IF you got a good one and are happy with your purchase... NICE...
You made out with a good purchase then.
But coming on here and saying .. you guys are full of it. and pretty much saying "your stupid for buying that high end lift"
The mojority of the people that have had a RC lift in the past have been unhappy with their purchase.
That being said. There are people that are VERY happy with their RC lift.
Sucks for the people that didnt like it and its great for the people that do like it.
I'm sure the people that didnt like it are more then willing to sell their RC stuff at a discount to the ones that like them So they can recoop some of their money.
For the right price i would give them a shot. IF i wasnt happy.. didnt spend full retail so no harm done.
Give your opinion not childish bashing.

actually my DD is a bike... no pedals though... it's a Yamaha V-Star 1100.
it gets right at 50mpg and is definitely up there as far as fun factor goes.
keep the entertainment coming guys, i drove my smooth as silk RC lifted TJ to work today and laughed at all of your rough ride comments all day long.
sounds like there are some grumpy grandpas on here that need to get out of a small SUV and get into a Cadillac.
