pismo61 10w-30 is correct.5w-30 maybe ok if you live in Ohio ect.were it gets real cold. 10w-40 is not good because they use too many stabilizers to cover the wider temp. range.

Jeep Dealer....




The Jeep dealer i took my lj to get the oil change, well i just found out that they were using 5w-30 when the owner's manuel and cap say to use 10w-30 is that right. I also just bought oil for a oil change on my jeep and i took my cousin with me and he said to buy 10w-40 i told him that my jeep manuel say's 10w-30 and he said that 10w-40 would be better. Now my jeep only has 12,400 miles on it can you guys tell me if my cousin is right or is he wrong thank you.
