The major cause was the track bar being extremely loose on the wheel end. The tie rod ends were showing wear on that side too.
Like other people have said, I guess need to keep an eye on the track bar. I am seeing 125 ft lbs as being the recommended torque. Do we all agree? Have to get under there every 6 months and check it.

dw thread above is great.
Had problem after lift installed. Put it on the ground and loosened all the bolts.
trac bar. upper and lower arms. put all the weight on the jeep. jumped up and down on bumper. then retighten all. six months later no problems.
this forum was a great help.

Experienced Death Wobble
I experienced the death wobble first hand and it was not fun. The odd thing is that most information you find on the internet says it normally comes on at higher speeds. Mine happened as I was accelerating (not hard) from an intersection and I wasn't going much more than 30mph. Felt like the front wheel was coming off. Violent shaking pretty much sums it up. The fact that I have already been reading tons of information about it and I was at a lower speed kept me from soiling my drawers.
Anyway, it is in the shop and we will see what they say.
