Pleffler A little pricey but I think this is what you're looking for

JK Door Mounts (pairs) - Gunner Fabrication

Racer8102 I'm not sure what type or where you are wanting to mount it, but in my TJ I used quickfists to mount my AR above the windshield. Held great an was pretty easy to remove the gun when needed. I don't have any pics, an I just ordered more quickfists to do the same in my jk (left the mounts in the tj when I sold it) also use the same as the pic above for my ccw, a fobus under the steering column for the glock.

Gun Mounts its the "door assault mount", you have contact them to get a quote, but its from the guys that did the one for red jacket firearms in the pic above.

It's just a regular belt/pants holster. Black hard plastic with the barrel open and little button to release it fits perfect. I can't get it out its so snug lol, the holster that is.

whetstone Yeah, I know my jeep's dirty but here's the way I carry a rifle when there's a chance I might have a reason to use it in a hurry (coyote, armadillo, etc)

Holy Mall Ninja, Batman! No Glock 20 with a pistol bayonet and breaching device?

oletennessean outside mounts for me hold no use and how many people own a saw, looks badass though. its the inside mounts specifically what i'm interested in.

2five22 Muzzle down and off-roading will beat the heck out of the muzzle crown and lead to reduced accuracy.

Slowzuki I'm thinking 50 cal mount on the roll bar...

Nomadarmy Gee Mfg 1-Gun Vertical Mount Rack - S-1 Truck - Metal Target, 06502
11-01-2012 02:55 AM
Nomadarmy we used to have these in the Humvee's (some still do) was just a low profile base piece and a spring clip around the barrel weapon would be standing vertical right by the drivers left foot area ....dito on the other side ('cept the right foot)
11-01-2012 02:25 AM
Frobo512 Vertically would actually work well too with some sort of clamp on the side above the hinges to support the barrel and then something shaped like the butt of a gun to hold the bottom in place if that makes since.
11-01-2012 02:21 AM
Frobo512 Ya I'm lookin for something to drive around the ranch with and if I see somethin spotlighting or whatever I can just grab my gun while sitting either in the driver or passenger seat instead of laying it across my lap where it bumps around. Ya with the doors off so the barrel is pointed down by the door hinges and the butt is by your waist when sitting, So it's at an angle. Might just have to make one myself if there's not somethin already.
