4Jeepn I would say it sounds like a ground issue, Start with the headlight switch first.. and then go to each light and check your connections, wish I could be of more help.

Two Part Electrical Question

Hey all. I just picked up a 2000 Wrangler Sahara, and I need to get some electrical ideas. I haven't even looked yet, so it might be something simple, but I figured I would probe for some ideas before I went to work on her after I get off of work tomorrow evening.

The first and probably easiest question, is I have one of the factory fog lights that is out. Are just the bulbs changeable, as I assume they are, and if so, how do I go about doing this.

The second is with the tail lights. They will not work with the lights on (they won't light up) Brake lights don't work, and the turn signals will work, but are very dim, and if I have the turn signal on and then hit the brakes, the turn signal will stop pulsing. The Jeep is wired for the trailer towing package. Any idea's where to start with this one?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide a newbie Jeep owner.
