Very nice job, I used to do stuff like this years ago but now I just want to go the easy route. I planed to do just that but the dealer messed up my order on my JKU and the Alpine system is no longer in my build. So now I need an alternative and was looking toward the Kicker system but the sub seems to go behind the seat and I want it to be part of the Jeep. Plus the cost is crazy for the sub but I like that it says plug in and go. Is there wiring hiding somewhere in the Jeep that is ready to go for a system? Could I just buy the Kicker speakers and say get that Infinity BassLink and tap into the factory wiring instead of running it all like days past?

Jma20a if it fits its a great option to give you a well rounded system, of you are looking for some booming bass than build a box and slap 2 10's in there.

Davidsjeep Whoa, crazy I just listed something on ebay you might be interested in!!

I was just getting on this part of the forum to put a link to my thread in the JK section, when I saw your thread here. Check out my thread and the ebay auction.

I didn't want to put anything under the seat because that ruins cargo space in the event of needing to fold down the seat.

I built this with myself in mind. I seriously doubt that you could find better quality anywhere else. Check out reviews on the sub. It top of the line, and according to all reviews it hits hard when cranked up. I've only tested it at low power because it's not broken in yet. The sub is a JL Audio 8w3v3-4.

Thinking about installing a couple subs and an amp under my rear seats of my JKU. anyone done this or have other ideas for sub/speaker placement?
