|Trevor C 98tj||For cheap i would plasti dip some angry eyes, those 2 chrome lights on front, rims, headlight bezels, grill, and rear tail gateand if you like it spray paint them. And get rid of those steps... and my favorite, turn your passenger windshield wiper fluid spitter thing so you can shoot water about 10 yards to the car beside you lol don't know the name of them lol. A 2 inch bb, and t case drop if you have drive line vibrations... and then some tires. That's about 300 dollars if you find them for the right price not including tires...|

|DuruConsigliere||I own a Rampage Soft top and it's nice, but more often than anything I run my hard top. Even with the doors off in the summer. Unless I have my jeep completely naked, usually the hard top is on it. Other products that I've bought and really like is my Black Diamond 3" Suspension lift. Cleared 33x12.5 of 15x10 rims with plenty of suspension travel room, so no rubbing the tires. Plus it corners very well, with very little body roll at all. Just make sure you get a steering stabilizer upgrade if you get bigger meats. Mine is Black Diamond as well. The one thing, I would change about my jeep is probably I'd like to have stock fenders on it. The bushwackers I have are very nice, but just think the thinner fenders look so much better.|

As for your Jeep - I've only had mine for a short period and it was stocker than yours when I bought it (I see you have some aftermarket bumpers there). So far I've done a 2" BB and installed 31x12.5 tires, and honestly I now wish I'd gone up 2" in both. It's sort of like when you get fake boobs they always say to choose the size you think you want and then go up one size because you'll never be happy with the first choice.
I also removed some needless bling put on there by the previous owner (chrome stuff) and I'm happy about that.
Anyway, the best thing to do is to look at all the pictures on this forum and see what catches your eye. That's what I've been doing. Congrats on your Wrangler!

Change the step rails to rock sliders, get off-set rims so the tire sticks out a bit, I am one for a hard top since I have one!!! Front/rear bumpers if you care, snorkel system, change the hood, change the hood latches, slap some custom decals on there, you already said lift, grill inserts, etc etc etc...
Then again, I haven't done much to mine. I have no money since I'm paying for her already I made custom paracord handles, customer grill inserts decals are on, mopar hood lock. That is as far as I got
Go more with what you feel like is the right thing to do to her. I have stuff on my mind I want to do. Just the money parts holding me back. I still haven't made the entry door seals/panels I wanted to make instead of buying them!

What would do you...?
So, recently purchased a Wrangler. It's practically stock, with full metal doors. Some things I've considered are: hard top, slight lift (~2-3"), slightly larger tires, etc. Any suggestions for a budget build, or modifications? If you could start from scratch again, how would you build it? What have you learned from your own build?
