WXman Stock tires can mount on 9" wheels but its going to look silly. You need the TREAD width to be equal to, or slightly greater than the listed wheel width.

wheel/tire width questions

Sorry, I dont understand how mounting tires works. I see 12.5 inch width tires mounted on 8" width rims, and I'm just not sure how everything works.

So here's my question.

I really like these rims

Rugged Ridge Black Wheels for Wrangler 15301.01

Wheel, Aluminum, Black, 17 in. x 9 in., 5 x 5 in. Bolt Circle, 5.472 in. Backspace

Would these fit for my 2013 JKU?

Would the stock tires mount well on these?

When i need new tires in the future, will I have many options with the 5.472" backspacing?
