Northernguy Thanks. I was thinking along those lines, but thought I'd check to see if there was a "cleaner" option. Sounds like there is not. Here goes.

ta2240 Hope this is not too late.

I just shoved a screwdriver between the glass and plastic piece and broke it apart. I then used a razor to get the old glue off. When you put it back on use glass glue, the stuff that windshields are installed with.

Installing rear liftgate bottom seal?

My 2004 Rubicon leaks due to a worn out bottom seal on the rear liftgate. The dealer wanted more than $200 for a piece of plastic and rubber, so I ordered that part online. But, it didn't come with any instructions. Anyone have any tips on installing a new assembly. The old one seems like it's glued on, but I can't see inside. So, I don't really know what I'm working with. Thanks for any help.
