|Sport43537||I'm running P285/75/17 BFG's on stock '13 Rubicon rims without any spacers, without any rubbing, before or after AEV 2.5" Dual Sport suspension install. They measure 33.5" installed. I did remove the front plastic air dam.|

|SWAMP RAT||I'm running 295/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers on Rubicon rims. I have 1.5 wheel spacers and a 2" Rusty's coil lift and have no rubbing issues whatsoever.|

|Paul04tj||I checked in at Belle Tire and told them I'm looking at new tires when my Jeep shows up. The Moab has 245/75 Silent Armour tires. They quoted me $159 per tire is under 500 miles.|

IMHO, you will never get more than $200 for those tires... I've seen take-off wheels AND tires for $500.
The disco works fine with my 2.5" AEV lift... I don't know why any other kit would be different... they either come with longer links or relocation brackets. The sway bars aren't longer... the connecting links are. If you upgraded to a new sway bar you'd have issues...
The work to do a spacer kit isn't much less than doing the springs. For 285/70's, you don't need a lift... just offset or spaced wheels. Lots of great wheels with 4.5-5.5 backspacing for $200 each... then sell your stockers for $500-600 with tires, and you are 1/2 way there.
I kept my stock Rubi wheels, went with spacers. Works great, but I should have just went with the wheels I wanted... they didn't have the argent ones and I didn't want to wait...

295/70R17 tires on stock Rubi rims, with spacers & TF Leveling Kit?
I'm still trying to decide on a wheel & tire upgrade, and am now thinking about the following combo:
Nitto Trail Grappler 295/70R17 = 33.5"x12"
Keeping my stock 2013 Rubi wheels
Installing 1.5" Spidertrax spacers
Installing Teraflex Leveling Kit
Assuming I'll be able to sell my almost new BFG stock tires for $400-$500 (pipe dream?), the net cost of this combo is only about $1,300, i.e., a lot less than getting new wheels, slightly bigger tires, and a "real" coil lift kit. Plus, my wife wouldn't even notice that I've spent money on this upgrade, because I'm keeping the stock rims!
So, what's your verdict? Also, would it rub? I'm sure the smaller (and lighter) DuraTrac 285/70R17s (32.8"x11.5") would fit, but they just don't seem like much of an upgrade over the stock BFG 32"x10"s.
Any input would be appreciated!
PS: will the Rubi's remote sway bar disconnect still work with the TF Leveling Kit? I thought this capability was a goner once you go with a coil lift kit and longer sway bar links (edited; thanks for the clarification, Beyond!) Just wondering...
