RubiconRich why not join a club? The clubs know where this trail is. People like me will not post where it is. A club is the best way to go.

Jeeptrick92 I've been out there before, it's a good trail. But right now there's some controversy of where exactly the trail ends. For awhile it was a known fact that we stop after the last hill, "suzuki hill". No one went past there and everything was fine. But now there are signs up saying to stop halfway through the trail, which makes it not worth the trip from southeastern mass. We still go to suzuki hill, we just go when alot of people won't be there.

RubiconRich If you go don't go all the way to to end.

bmpage84 I haven't been up there in years, but I do know that the City of Northnampton has had some major issues with over use of that trail had closed SOME sections of it (as in charging people with trespassing). Last I heard, this was back in '07-'08, a couple of guys, by the name of White (brothers?) were negotiating with the city to keep the trail open. NOT SURE if this was a sanctioned negotiation via one of the 4WD associations (NEA, EC4WDA, etc.) and I never heard the final outcome from it.

RubiconRich It's not an old powerline, it's an old telephone line.

Does anyone know anything about this trail? I ran into a group from Rhode Island the other day on it and was wondering how long it is and where it comes out at
