Joshbaugh So, the Header seal looks fine. no bumps, wrinkles, twists ect... However it does look like its a little short on the sides, where it makes the curve by the doors (1/4 to 1/8 in). So is it safe to remove the header seal and re-attach or should i just drop the $130 and get a new one!?

jp2611 not to be too obvious..but would assume it has been lifted off and reseatted..ensuring nothing is pinched or "twisted" ....leaks in TJs IMO especially with hard doors and top are fairly rare...good luck!!

06 TJ water leak ideas

Hey Guys,
so had the top and doors off the 06 tj this summer. Have a new leak, im getting some water running down the inside of the doors. It looks like water is coming in the corner between the door seals and header seal. I have a hard top and full doors. Oregon has some killer rain, but would love some ideas as to what to replace first, or ways to fix it.

I have tried adjusting the door hinges, and they are within specs, door seals look in good condition and the header seal looks alright, might be a little work in the corners.
