Valkster I'm new to this site but I am on the downhill stretch on a cj8 restore...I have hundreds of pics (literally) so I would be happy to help if I can, the two types are pretty much the same overall.

steve_plunkett I have an 81 CJ-5 project im almost complete. I did a spring over and got 6 inches and 35s. I had to get frame caps for the rear and some bew body mounts. I hav plenty of pictures

Hey guys im in the process of buying a 1979 cj5 and plan on doing a pretty complete restore of it. Just wondering if you guys have any tips. Also it dosent have a tailgate I heard that was a option you paid more for back in the day and I'm looking to add one now. Anyone done this
