BLK00TJ Normal. Your front DS is still tied to your front axle and will still spin. It shouldn't have a "connection" inside the transfer case where 2wd, 4hi, and 4lo selection occurs.

Driveshaft help!

I have an 02 TJ with a 4" lift and no lockers. When backing up to a trailer my friend noticed that my front driveshaft was spinning while i was in 2WD. There wasn't any power actually being delivered to the front tires though. i could switch between 4WD Low and High and actually feel the front tires engage but the front driveshaft continued to spin while put back into 2WD. Any suggestions or help with diagnostics would be greatly appreciated.
