Sammy91683 Exactly what I was thinking. Thank you so much

Jerry Bransford Between those two, I'd go for the less $$$ Alpine. As said before, your Polk speakers are extremely efficient & the Alpine would easily provide more power than they would require to burst your ear drums.

Sammy91683 Alpine 200W Class AB Bridgeable 432Channel MOSFET Amplifier w Adjustable Crossover MRP-F300 - Best Buy
This has less power.
200w peak 50w x 4 channels at 4 ohms
50w or 75w continuous x 4 channels at 4 ohms

What about something like this?
My DXi650s have 180w peak with 60w continuous. I did the whole 3/4 rule thing and got 80 continuous.
My Dxi460s have 120w peak and 45 continuous. (60w continuous with the 3/4 rule)
The nominal impedence for both speaker sets is 4 ohms.
The amp has 300w x 2 channels at 4 ohms and 170w x 4 channels at 2 ohms.
Sorry, first time dealing with amps.

PHILDABEAST I agree with jerry. Just as a side note, if you have an aftermarket head unit it might claim 50 watts x4 or whatever, its actually about 15 watts x4 rms. As for the sound quality of an amp look at the THD (total harmonic distortion) the lower the number the better the sound quality.

Jerry Bransford I don't really have a brand preference for an amp but both of those speakers are very efficient (don't need much power to drive) so you won't need a high-power amplifier. You will be very happy with the sound if you buy an amp that has around 50 RMS watts per channel, no more is needed really, which is what I had in my last TJ. That is at least 3X more power than your current head unit is putting out.

Amplifier Questions

I have two Polk DXi460 4x6's in the dash and two Polk DXi650 6 1/2's in the soundbar. I wanted to hook an amplifier up to these, but I was wondering which ones you thought sounded the best or which ones I should get.
