Bolt Action Bought it for my 97 Expedition, best $120 I've ever spent.

bobbav My 97 is having issues, as I get no air out of the center vents....only floor and defrost. I did not attempt the heater-treater fix on my Jeep yet, BUT, did it on my Ford Ranger. The kit and instructions was GREAT, and it totally fixed the issue. As with all of these types of repairs, you need to dremel the heater box to where you can get the broken door out. What was the hardest was inserting the new door, and dealing with the spring that drops the rod into the existing pivot hole. All-in-all, the repair was perfect.

As for my issue, I am just going to take t to a dealer, as my AC is not holding a charge either. I know it's going to cost me, but because I have what appears to be a hidden AC leak (dyed refrigerant did not reveal anything), AND the heater box issue, I'll bite the bullet. Sucks having a Jeep with AC, and having to use the windows to get cool......
