|Rainycity||oh, it is 20% less to live up north around Marysville, tulalip, etc, but the time you lose during the commute,, that you would have to weigh. Myself, I`ll stay down here around the Burien area and just go up north when it suits me.|

We'll see how the offer stacks up. The whole relo package may just make or break the deal. They are trying to tell me that it's 20% less expensive to live up north.

Need far more info.
What will your commute times be?
What price range?
What do you consider "a spectacular home"?
Answer those and then I can tell I don't know.
Seriously, the commute around Seattle is much the same as around the bay area. If you're trying to get in in the Am or out in the afternoon you're pretty much boned

So I am closing in on a position in Seattle. Any place in particular I should be looking to live? If we are going to leave Cali and rip u[p roots, I am looking for a spectacular home on some land. Where do I look that the commute trip to the Oympic Sculpture Park area won't kill me?
