dylan1991 Is it one of the smittybuilt chrome tube bumpers? I'm no expert but I'm almost positive I've read here on the forum that you can't mount a winch to those types of bumpers.

Winch mounting TJ

Happy New Year; fellow Jeepsters. Looking for some advice, please: I bought a 98 TJ a few months ago. It has a 3" dual tube front bumper; probably from Quadratec. Santa Claus brought me a new winch. I started looking for a mount location on the bumper and all I see is two flanges; that don't line up with any of the 4 mount holes on the bottom of the winch. After reading more about the bumpers offered from Quadratec I see that they come as "winch mount" and "light mount". I'm assuming I have the light mount. Does anyone know of a plate available that I could use to easily retrofit the winch to?

Thanks...
