Just like you I drive around 30 miles each way most days and Ive come to realize I dont offroad that much, mods I like are things like the rear tire carrier bumper, extra lights, better back up lights, air compressor, nice floor mats, finding places to stick tools (basic socket set, bottle jack, jumper cables, tire plug kit, etc) . I know in my case these things will get more use then my winch

These are all your friends, so just add them to favorites and start browsing. Search the forums, ask people, find Jeep friends and ask them...there's a lot to learn, and once you start it becomes an addiction. Most people get hooked for life. If you're prone to emotional purchases, hide the credit card while you browse these sites though, because they'll convince you that you can't go wheeling until you've spent half of your retirement. And keep in mind your stock sport is more capable than just about anything out there, so go play and have fun!

bigkevj My first mod was changing out radio head unit. but I had planned for that before I bought. Purchased with the base radio, upgraded to Kenwood DNX6190HD. Love it. Immediately made speakers sound better. Also changed antenna to the stubby AntennaX model. I did lose some reception range, but listen to satellite mostly anyway.

Pricing out speakers/amps now. Not sure what I am going to do there yet. Probably replace the 6.5s with Polks, but I dont know anything about this stuff and I am not a big fan of local car audio stores so not sure how to proceed.

Welcome to the club!
