|IcarusLSC||Cool, thank you! I'll let you know how it looks when I see it. Hopefully I can get a top ready for the summer now cheaply!|

I'll have to find a diagram of the parts to see what brackets you mean. Going to try to look at it this weekend.
So I shouldn't have to worry about door issues or the header panel?

|Neil F.||Any 97-06 top will fit. 97 will not be sailcloth (unless it was replaced.) The only part that will not work but may not be off the original 97 are the roll bar brackets the frame attaches to. 03-06 padding is thicker and the roll bar brackets extended a little further out towards the back. You can get brackets on ebay|

'97 Soft top on '04?
A guy my brother knows has a never used 1997 soft top sitting in his basement he wants to sell.
If it's all complete, with frame, surrounds, header and tailgate bars, it'll fit my '04 correct? Or will it not work due to the header and door differences (and is that soft or hard doors that need to match I've vaugely read about?)
Anything to look out for with a soft top, I've never had one? How can I tell if it's sailcloth or not?
Thanks and sorry for all the questions!
