No problem man! Nice to meet you and your daughter. After inspection, it didn't seem that I was deep enough to suck up debris in that pit I went thru, btw forum people and NCtom, here is a short album. Hopefully it works!

For those who haven;t been there this place has a lot of unexpected crawling, fording, and some pretty technical ruts. In one of the pictures you can see that I took some fauna on my front left steering knuckle. However I am floored at the capability of my stock jk. The crappy SRA tires ate that mud and dirt and ruts for lunch never got "stuck" I stopped for a moment after going into a deep mud pit. However this is when I pressed my clutch in but, the bell housing isn't dirty, so I am not concerned. After climbing a very steep slope. (NCtom and I) found our just how capable our rigs are. We both had to step out on top of the hill to actually see how steep it was. Kept it in 4L in 2nd gear most of the time except for the hill and the deep mud where I went into mud. I cannot stress enough the sheer ability of this thing even with the crappy 3.21 gears and stock tires.

My ATX wheel are teflon coated and that really proved its mettle when you see our two jeeps together after we paused to catch ourselves after just seeing sky. I was actually worried we couldn't get up!

On the way back we met two guys, Tyler and Howell (I believe) Howell has a sick 89 J10 pickup on 37" humvee tires and we stopped to chat and show off our rigs and they explained it was their first time there and what lied ahead of them.

Anyways hope you all enjoy the photo album, its on imgur.

NCtom We can try anyway. It's right off the exit of 40 and page. You can see it on google maps. I think it's the north side of the intersection. We will give a couple hours of coffee time to anyone else who wants to guide a couple rookies. If not no problem we go!
Mammoth919 I have no idea where it is. As much as I don't like the title. I am a newb. Ha i got 32" no winch and limited knowledge.

NCtom Mornin folks I'm up. Grass was cut yesterday, wife is going to the movies w her sister and I'm ready to hit page. Who else, when and where to meet?
NCtom What time? One more JEEP would be nice since we are both kind of rookies.

I have a 97 with 3.5 inch lift and 33s. No winch and a smashed thumb.

drspec I thought that area was posted

is it legal to go there?
NCtom How risky is it to go at it alone? I'd rather go my first shot with a group, but coordinating schedules is difficult. Today or Sunday is good. All I have to do is mow!
adamfitz I went out yesterday with a friend and it was awesome. It has some stuff to make it harder but definitely a good spot to go for a first time wheeler. My jeep went over everything and my friends truck bottomed out multiple times.

NCtom Anyone interested in meeting up for TW? Maybe Page? Sunday is best, but Saturday is possible for me. I have not been on either, but want to.

Ah OK knew it was something along those lines... either way helping a good cause and you get to wheel and hang out a little. Hard to beat. Thanks guinnessmon

Think you've gotta bring canned foods or something to get in but they have a small obstacle course that is perfect for a trial run.

I've followed this thread for a few years, and I believe I met a few of you guys a year or so back out at The Rock, but never really got around to actually posting and figured it was time!

I've had a few JK's (2012 and 2013 Sport 2 door) and just sold my lifted 09 WK to pick up a 2015 Unlimited Sport. The mod sickness has already set in and I have a Teraflex 2.5" kit and 33x12.50 Grabber AT2's mounted on 15" MB TKO's on the way.

I'll post up some pics once everything is installed but figured I'd say hey to everyone.
