twinstackram I noticed it too,06' 6 spd w/4cyl but it don't do it if you really take your time getting from first to second, and let the rpm's go way down, just my observation.

Shifting issues

Does anyone else have "normal" noises when shifting?

I say "normal" because Ive had my jeep looked at several times, and no one can find anything wrong. To me this is very frustrating, as I do not believe this is normal.

My shifting problems are between 1st and 2nd gear. Usually a popping sound, and its sometimes hard to get into gear. Almost feels like something is rubbing against something. If anyone else out there has this same issue, any info would be greatly appreciated.

2005 X, 6 spd.
