x2 on a 2010 JK, planned to do with an ARB locker up front. gonna leave the back BLD for now..

kbwwolf Ain't that the truth. I've been planning to do the same thing you're doing, going to same gear ratio and all (from 3.73s on a '12), but just haven't gotten around to it.

Probably this summer.

cverstij I knew I would need a new carrier, but they originally said I could use my current Spider gears with the new case. I don't know how it all works, but it's nickel dime here and nickel dime there.

kbwwolf Yup, need a new carrier if switching from 3.21s...and should have a master install kit, as well.

Sucks they didn't tell you that ahead of time. Still, it'll be sweet once you get em installed.

spider gears

Anyone heard that the stock Spider gears on a 12 jk manual 3.21 won't fit in a carrier for 4.56 gears? Don't know if I said that right. I'm regearing from 3.21 to 4.56 and after they got into the diff discovered that they can't reuse my stock spiders because they won't fit the new case.
