The Wave

I picked my JKU up 2 weeks ago. Sold the Audi and the Tahoe and couldn't be more happy with this baby. I had it lifted and added some things and noticed the same thing. I get lots of waves from the ones who have done something to their Jeep, not the old or unmodified ones. Now that my windows are all dark, I have to have my window down because no one can see me wave back.

You wouldn't understand...

Wait, yes you do! Ha. I still think its hilarious when I wave at a soccer mom and she gives me the "who the eff are you" look.

Getting "the wave" already

I know this is a topic probably, but so what. I find it humorous and fun anyhow.

I think I got 2 waves in the first 24 hours of ownership, and a several more here n there with another one on my way home just now. What I noticed mostly is that drivers of modified rides tend to be the enthusiastic ones, and those with more-stock machines...usually no wavey.
When I got the Z3 back in the day-lots of waves. (still in the garage)
Same with the xB...lots.
Vespa...oh yeah, for sure from riders of many makes of bike.
Jaguar....HA! really?

I have to remember that I'm in the "group" again while driving the JKU.

Lovin' it
